$20 is the lowest price CCW course I've ever seen. The guy who teaches it is a high-miles NRA instructor from the valley of the scum... umm... sun. Unfortunately no range time is included, so it's somewhat hollow.

Low-priced bare-bones CCW class Sunday

Re: Low-priced bare-bones CCW class Sunday
A couple of us attended this class. It was disappointing, & I don't recommend attending any of their future offerings.
- Arizona no longer requires applicants to qualify at a shooting range -- this is very, very bad!
- This course spent about an hour on selling stuff instead of providing instruction.
- About 40 minutes was spent doing fingerprints instead of providing instruction.
- The salient points were excellent but a bit sparse.
- The course started late & ended early.

Thanks for the good info, Gary!
Re: Low-priced bare-bones CCW class Sunday
We have our very own CFL member Anthony Martinez who teaches CCW classes. His are TOP NOTCH and when you go through his class, you will be more confident and understand the laws. I would say you pay for what you get and although his class is not $20.00, it is highly worth paying more for quality. He is listed in our group so you can find him on next door or here to get additional information.
He has even been generous at our monthly CFL get togethers to offer up a free class to a lucky raffle winner. I'm not saying this happens every month, but you never know when he will have a give away. Another great reason to not miss our monthly meetings.
